- Wharf Resources has applied for a NEW Conditional Use Permit
#398 in order to expand the operation at Wharf Resources. All of the data here is an

- June 14, 2011 at 7:00 a.m. Planning and Zoning Special
Meeting to discuss CUP #398 Expansion of Wharf Resources will be held on June 14, 2011 at
7:00 a.m. in the Lawrence County EOC Room located in the downstairs of the Courthouse.
Please enter through doors by the Sheriffs Office and either take the elevator downstairs
or the stairs. There will be signs posted explaining the way to the room. The Board will
make a recommendation to the County Commissioners. The Public is welcome to attend, but
the Public Hearing portion of the meeting was closed on May 24, 2011.
CUP #398 Wharf Expansion is also on the agenda in front of the County Commissioners on
June 14, 2011 at 9:20 a.m. The County Commissioners will be receiving a recommendation
from the Planning and Zoning Board regarding this CUP application. The County
Commissioners shall have 45 days from receipt of the recommendation to make a decision, so
they may or may not make a decision at this meeting.

|Extractive Industry CUP
- This proposed Ordinance is an update to format and procedure
for a current Extractive Industry Cnditional Use Permit Ordinance. Public comment is being
taken for these proposed changes until July 31, 2011. All public comments can be emailed
to firstname.lastname@example.org or mailed to 90 Sherman
Street, Deadwood, SD. All comments received will be presented to the Planning & Zoning
Board on August 3, 2011, where the Board will review comments and make possible chnages to
the Ordinance. A Public Hearing with all proposed chnages will be on September 1, 2011 in
front of the Planning & Zoning Board. Additinal hearings will be scheduled at a future
